Previous frontside pics of this carving show a peek of Tibet’s wings that are held under my arm. This backside view reveals his wing in full regalia... . I also play with the idea that his wings serve as my back shield of feathers. I love this commingling with my beautiful companion. And I trust there is strength in the symbolism of feathers as a shield. Something about staying tender... . The sea lives within the spiral forms. Deep and mysterious and ancient and cyclic. . The doves came to me when I sensed his final days were drawing closer.
